1 Day - Peer to Peer Brainspotting Equine Retreat July 12th ~ 8am-5pm

This 1 day retreat is designed for Brainspotting practitioners to experience and receive EquiAttune. EquiAttune is the Integrating the Neuroexperiential Model and Dual Attunement Frame within Equine Assisted Sessions.  This retreat was developed for Brainspotting Pracitioners to come together, clear limbic countertransference, and to support and encourage one another, while in the beautiful mountain retreat town of Idyllwild, in Southern California. No equine experience is needed in order to participate.  This retreat was designed for Brainspotting practitioners to deepen their own healing while in the attuned regulating presence of equines. 


As healers it is important for us to continue to work on our own stuff, and clear out anything that is not serving us and our client. This retreat is designed to provide a place to support each other as Brainspotting practitioners.  Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided. There will be a group experiential and 2 opportunities for Peer to Peer Brainspotting sessions while in the attuned presence of equines.  


Total Cost: $400 

  • Includes breakfast treats, lunch, and refreshments 
  • Yoga class
  • Group EquiAttune activity (connecting with a  body resource spot activity and/or relating with an expansion spot activity) 
  • 2 Peer to Peer EquiAttune sessions - Creatively integrating the NEM into equine assisted sessions. 


No equine experience needed to participate.  This is designed for people with any level of equine experience, ranging from no experience to professional experience. It is designed to practice and receive group and individual EquiAttune healing experiences. This retreat does not qualify as an equine assisted training and will not certify participants in an equine assisted model. It is designed as a healing retreat for Brainspotting practitioners.

Schedule for the day:

7:00am-8:00am – Coffee and tea (optional)

8:00am-9:00am – Morning yoga (optional)

9:00am-10:00am – Breakfast - introductions

10:00am-11:00pm – Equine connection activity with a resource spot and an expansion spot

11:00am-1:00pm – Peer to Peer Brainspotting sessions - with the equines present (1 hour each) 

1:00pm-2:00pm – Lunch

2:00-3:00pm – Bladder Meridian exercise

3:00-3:15 - Break

3:15- 4:45 - Peer to Peer Brainspotting sessions - with the equines present (45 min each)

4:45-5:00 - Debrief and end of day

Dinners will be on your own, or you may choose to meet as a group at one of the many restaurants in town. There will be 2 group experientials and 4 opportunities for Peer to Peer Brainspotting sessions while in the attuned presence of equines.  


Total Cost: $750

  • 2 Yoga classes
  • 2 group EquiAttune activities (connecting with a  body resource spot activity and relating with an expansion spot activity)

Day 1 - Friday

7:00am-8:00am – Coffee and tea (optional)

8:00am-9:00am – Morning yoga

9:00am-10:00am – Breakfast - introductions

10:00am-11:00pm – Equine connection activity with a resource spot (grounded)

11:00am-1:00pm – Peer to Peer Brainspotting sessions - with the equines present (1 hour each) 

1:00pm-2:00pm – Lunch

2:00-3:00pm – Bladder Meridian exercise

3:00-3:15 - Break

3:15- 4:45 - Peer to Peer Brainspotting sessions - with the equines present (45 min each)

4:45-5:00 - Debrief and end of day 1


Day 2 - Saturday

7:30am-8:00am – Coffee and tea (optional)

8:00am-9:00am – Yoga 

9:00am-10:00am – Breakfast 

10:00am-11:00am – Group expansion spot activity (any resource you are wanting to expand on) with the equines

11:00-1:00pm – Peer to Peer Brainspotting session - with the equines

1:00pm-2:00pm – Lunch

2:00pm-4:00pm – Peer to Peer Brainspotting session - with the equines

4:00pm-4:30pm – Debrief and close of retreat
